The Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Head of Partnerships to support and grow our partner relationships and ensure the success of marketing, product, and sales initiatives with our partners. Tactically, this includes managing all stages of the partnership cycle including business development, account management, project management, and internal collaboration.
Responsibilities
Account Management
- Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to execute on partnership strategy, goals, and OKRs.
- Own relationships with partner managers, specifically with leading social, advertising, and e-commerce platforms.
- Build joint goals and business plans with partners. Be as helpful as possible, and enable them to be successful.
APIs and Integrations
- Project manage key alpha and beta initiatives, including internal stakeholder management, customer research, customer discovery calls, tracking and reporting on key metrics and KPIs, and owning customer onboarding and feedback.
- Project manage multi-phase projects and initiatives from ideation to post-launch. Ensure all criteria are met on time, and feedback is distributed to stakeholders.
Partner Marketing and Insights
- Work cross-functionally with our marketing and revenue teams to project manage go-to-market plans, partner marketing materials, and marketing briefs.
- Communicate platform partner news to product marketing, revenue, and product teams.
Internal Communication and Alignment
- Possess a deep understanding of partner and program needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify new opportunities and potential challenges in the industry ecosystem.
- Manage projects for Strategic Partnerships using our work management software, Asana.
Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience
- You build long-lasting meaningful relationships. New challenges excite you, and you are not afraid to jump in and do what needs to be done. You are a self-learner, and enjoy both collaboration and working independently on projects. People would describe you as charismatic, a go-getter, organized, and dependable.
- Three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably in partner management, account management, product marketing, or sales at a social media, technology, or fast-growing software company.
- Project management experience is considered an asset. This includes multitasking and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to bring projects from inception to post-launch.
- Understanding of social media marketing, SaaS, or MarTech is preferred.
