Adecco is actively seeking a skilled CMT Technician - Mechanics for a full-time role based in Trenton, ON. This position offers a competitive salary of $41.20 per hour. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the repair, modification, and inspection of aircraft, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada Regulations and other industry standards. This role will require you to have or obtain Controlled Goods security clearance, therefore only Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.

  • Pay Rate: $41.20/hour.

  • Location: Trenton, ON

  • Shift: Monday-Friday

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Perform repairs, modifications, and inspections in accordance with customer check packages, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), the Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other related manuals.

  • Ensure the safe and serviceable return of customer aircraft by performing all tasks in line with applicable manuals and regulations.

  • Complete all necessary documentation and reports for each repair or modification in strict compliance with Transport Canada regulations.

  • Provide leadership and coaching to junior technicians, ensuring efficient, accurate work and helping them develop their skills.

  • Perform other duties as required by the role.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), approved by Transport Canada or an equivalent military qualification.

  • Minimum four years of experience performing duties within the scope of the trade.

  • Must hold or be eligible to hold a Transport Canada AME-M license or DND equivalent certification/authorization levels.

  • Experience with CC130 B-H & J Aircraft (DND/Military) is considered an asset.

  • Controlled Goods Program Clearance and Secret Security Clearance (must be obtained).

  • Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents only due to security clearance requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to industry standards and procedures.

  • Ability to lead and mentor junior technicians.
