DiversiTrade Resource & Connection Centre is a not-for-profit society which helps advance and support diversity in the skilled trades and construction industry.
DiversiTrade has evolved from successful Alberta Women in Trades and Pride in Construction initiatives to offer more to the ever-growing communities within the construction industry. We are here to direct individuals to established organizations and leverage existing networks while creating a welcoming community for everyone.
Our website serves as an online centre for people to access and connect with resources across the province of Alberta (to start) and support their current or future careers in the construction industry. Our goal is to support individuals who are excited about careers in the skilled trades and bury the stigma that a journeyperson certificate isn’t enough. It can be your first option and lead to a successful, rewarding career within the construction industry.
