Key Responsibilities
As the Specialist, Site Production you will be responsible for working within our website platform to build daily and weekly marketing campaigns on thesource.ca. You will be responsible for implementing visual elements that customers will see and interact with on The Source website. This is an exciting opportunity to support in the rapid growth of The Source's online sales channel and contribute to the continued expansion and evolution.
- Responsibilities will include translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and the Web Development team to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
- Develop new user-facing features. The majority of work will be within SAP Hybris.
- Collaborate with our internal digital teams and eCommerce IT partners to produce and load web elements on a scheduled weekly basis.
- Identify opportunities to drive automation and efficiencies.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Adherence to web accessibility standards WCAG and AODA compliance.
- Test and report any production issues within our CMS and websites.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop and publish content that achieves superior online sales results.
- Hours of work are typically within office hours. However, you will need to be available to work some after hours and possible overnight site checks from time to time to support launches and major events.

Critical Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in web content management within a Digital/eCommerce focused role.
• University or college degree in a related field, with relevant prior working experience within a larger retail organization.
• Strong, working knowledge of common programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with the ability to hard code content as needed.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency of content management software, SAP Hybris a plus.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and AODA compliance requirements an asset.
• Advanced organizational skills; strong time management and prioritization; ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects on tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of design principles, with a focus on organizational layout and user experience.
• Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and internal search.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the flexibility to handle ongoing web changes, updates and evolving priorities.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows.
• Knowledge of Jira, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and personalization tools an asset.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
