Reporting to the Kitimat Preservation (Shift) Lead, the MCPlus Preservation Coordinator is responsible for supporting and monitoring the craft & contractor’s preservation activities and supporting the development of the preservation database (MCPlus) to link and track engineered tags to modules and systems.
This position works with the Project Team, Construction Contractors, and Client to ensure all preservation requirements are satisfied, properly executed, and documented in accordance with project requirements.
MUST be a Team Player and be able to take direction, as well as provide input and suggestions for improved team performance.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Direct Contact person for Kitimat Preservation Lead(s).
2. Participate in weekly preservation meetings.
3. Conduct preservation inspections in the field when required. (Minimal)
4. Review and implement any corrective actions & related observations raised by the FPD team.
5. Document and ensure timely closure of any preservation NCR and punch items.
6. Identify Gaps in Preservation activities and assist in expediting solutions.
7. Input, update, maintenance of the MCPlus database to the latest approved preservation forms.
8. Manage day to day preservation forms and distribution to Preservation craft.
9. Experience with MCPlus (preferred) or other Quality, Turnover, Completions database.
With demonstrated proficiency in relational database management systems. (RDBMS)
10. Manage MCPlus database which will include:
a. Printing weekly preservation forms
b. Rescan the completed forms into MCPlus
c. Adding new forms against new material
d. Changing the preservation location
e. Starting preservation requirements
11. Coordinate with the Material control team to obtain the material arrival, issuance, receivable, and material tracking information.
12. Prepare Site 6-week look-ahead reports utilizing the Site MAR.
13. Assist with the building and compiling of Preservation work packs.
14. Use Coreworx and Jovix to locate and track documents, materials, and deliverables.
15. Responsible for tracking preservation related RFI and ensure that all Preservation RFI’s have been actioned and responded accordingly.
16. Generate weekly & monthly KPI report.
17. Other duties as assigned.
CORE ACTIVITIES:
• Functional knowledge of MCPlus data base program.
• Communicating and interacting with employees at all working and management levels.
• Effective management of large volumes of data and documentation.
• Occasional On-site review, inspection, or walkdown of work scope for completeness, quality, and compliance with project specification and regulatory requirements.
