Fluor Canada is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and business-partner minded Human Resources Advisor to join our Human Resources team in Vancouver to support Management and employees in a HR generalist capacity.
Day to Day Activities Include:
The HR Advisor acts as a business partner to your assigned Managers and employees by providing HR guidance and support as well as collaborating with the appropriate HR teams (i.e. Benefits, Talent Development, Mobility) to provide solutions for your clients.
• Provide advice, guidance & interpretation of HR policies, programs and employment legislation
• Coordinate and consult on the process for domestic and international assignments
• Coordinate the actions, strategy and conversations around employee onboarding, leaves of absences and departures
• Partner with Managers and the Talent Acquisition team to help formulate a robust recruitment strategy to attract and attain top talent
• Collaborate with hiring departments and DE&I Manager to implement diversity and inclusion plans
• Coach and assist managers in the tasks and strategy around the engagement and performance management of employees
• Collaborate with the HR centres of excellence (Benefits, Talent Development, Mobility, Recruitment, etc.) across Canada to complete tasks as required
• Streamline and improve processes, such as onboarding, or HR reporting
• Various other duties as required including project assignments
• Other duties assigned
