We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Engagement Marketing to lead our customer base and engagement efforts across multiple channels. This role will be pivotal in driving growth through effective CBM strategies, optimizing customer spend and engagement, and collaborating closely with marketing agencies. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and leadership skills to spearhead our engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Senior Manager, Engagement Marketing will lead a team of commercial leads in an Agile Marketing environment and will work collaboratively across Rogers Marketing, Rogers Bank, Legal and the Product team to deliver on aggressive targets.
What you'll do:
- Develop and Execute Engagement Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive engagement strategies to drive revenue growth, leveraging CBM techniques, digital channels, and other relevant marketing tactics.
- CBM Management: Oversee the CBM program, including segmentation, customer journey mapping, email marketing campaigns, and personalized communications to enhance customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Agency Management: Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, including but not limited to media buying agencies and creative agencies. Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and ensure deliverables are met within timelines and budget constraints.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of engagement marketing campaigns and initiatives. Develop actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement based on performance metrics and KPIs.
- Journey design and trigger-based campaigns: design automated campaigns to drive card usage and increased spend and engagement across the customer base. Look at segmenting customers and understanding their behaviors and patterns to serve up relevant campaigns and communications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, sales, and analytics, to align engagement marketing strategies with broader business objectives and ensure seamless execution across all touchpoints.
- Agile Marketing adoption: Adopt working in an Agile Marketing way to test and learn and drive towards achieving KPIs within the Agile Marketing framework.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in engagement marketing, CBM, and credit cards. Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve our approach to driving card usage amongst customers.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in marketing roles, with a focus on CBM, digital sales, and agency management.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, preferably in a fast-paced, consumer-facing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics software.
- Experience leading and motivating a team
- Experience working in an Agile Marketing environment
- Strategic mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
