Suncor is seeking a passionate Digital Delivery Analyst to join our team as an in-house subject matter expert for our integrated systems for Sales & Marketing with focus on SAP. As part of our team, you will educate users on proper processes, identify and manage opportunities for improvement with our business and technical partners, and ensure systems and processes are set up for new business. - 5+ years of related SAP S/4 experience supporting Oil & Gas Downstream and/or Upstream business processes (IS-OIL, RFNO, SCSD, CPE, Contract Management, Materials and Inventory Management)
- A related Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Computer Science, and/or combination of other education and equivalent work experience
- Understanding of Midstream, Downstream & Logistics business processes
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse groups
- Communication and collaboration skills to gain an understanding of process and system issues from internal stakeholders and customer’s perspectives
- Experience working within an Agile team mindset while contributing to the planning and prioritization of work
Responsibilities:
- Support Suncor’s Sales & Marketing business process implemented in SAP S/4, focusing primarily on hydrocarbon management processes, including pricing and billing.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, implementation, and utilization of new business processes / solutions, as well as system maintenance, in conjunction with our business and IT partners
- Support the reporting on system performance, user performance & process KPI’s
- Apply innovative and agile thinking towards continuous process improvements and system enhancements
- Work collaboratively with product team members supporting the integrations between SAP and other business applications within the Sales and Marketing business application landscape.
- Provide leadership, managing the resolution process of critical, high-priority business/system issues in live production system
- Facilitate, coordinate and engage key business stakeholders to gather requirements for enhancements and deliver business process documentation, and/or training where needed due to new/changed functionality
Location and other Key Details:
- This role may require occasional out of hours working during critical business situations to support continuity of operations.
- This is an office-based role; you will work out of our Calgary head office located in the Suncor Energy Centre (150 – 6th Ave SW)
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
