Why this role is important?
The Senior Manager, Pharmacy Experience Optimization will play a pivotal role in transforming the pharmacy experience through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives. This position focuses on analyzing operational data to uncover trends, developing actionable plans, and implementing optimization strategies. Collaborating closely with cross functional teams, this role ensures the delivery of an exceptional pharmacy experience for both patients and staff.
What You’ll Do:
· Act as an Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME), utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to identify improvement opportunities for pharmacy experience.
· Lead workflow measurement initiatives by creating site plans and coordinating data needs with analytics teams.
· Build and manage documentation to highlight actionable steps for improvement and track effectiveness at a store level.
· Develop comprehensive measurement methodologies for new initiatives, ensuring stores receive the support needed for sustained success.
· Define and implement a Balanced Scorecard, tracking workflow adjustments, incentive impacts, and overall operational efficiency.
· Guide workflow efficiencies by aligning team efforts with best practices in pharmacy operations.
· Provide actionable insights to field and operations teams to support ongoing improvements and strategic decision-making.
· Conduct analysis on site-specific challenges, working closely with stakeholders to design data-backed solutions.
· Collaborate on ad hoc projects aimed at addressing unique pharmacy needs and optimizing patient and staff experience.
What You’ll Need:
· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
· Extensive experience in analyzing and optimizing workflows, with knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, or other efficiency methodologies.
· Strong business acumen, particularly in understanding pharmacy operations, financial performance, and market dynamics.
· Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and address complex operational issues.
· Experience in program measurement, including setting benchmarks, tracking improvements, and evaluating impact.
· Strong communication skills for translating data insights into clear, actionable plans for field teams.
· Proficiency in developing and implementing data-driven improvement programs.
