As a Senior Analyst in the Subsidiary Accounting team at National Bank, you’ll be a specialist in accounting activities form some subsidiaries of National Bank. With your experience, your knowledge in accounting and your rigor in accounting and reporting, you’ll have a positive impact on the experience of your collaborators, your colleagues and management.
Your role
- Perform month-end accounting tasks (prepare and post journal entries, perform bank and GL reconciliation, etc.)
- Participate in monthly regulatory reporting preparation
- Prepare annual audit file and collaborate with auditors during audit process
- Ensure up-to-date and adequate documentation is maintained
- Stay alert to any opportunities for continuous improvement of current activities and implement them
- Participate in various projects affecting the subsidiaries
Your team
As part of the Finances sector, you will join a large team of nearly 70 colleagues. You will report to the Manager, subsidiary accounting and be part of team of 3 people, responsible for the accounting and regulatory activities of National Bank Investment (NBI), National Bank Savings and Investments Inc. (NBSI), NBC Financial Markets Asia Ltd (NBCFMA) and NBC Paris SA.
This position will allow you to develop and evolve by having, among other things, the opportunity to acquire knowledge on accounting and regulatory activities with regards to these subsidiaries. Our team stands out for the collaboration of everyone to achieve a common goal.

Prerequisites
- Completed bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting
- CPA accounting designation obtained or in the process of obtaining
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented individual
- High sense of responsibility, autonomy, and sense of initiative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
