Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have an opportunity as a Reporting Analyst.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
Accountabilities include:
- Pull campaign data to create reporting dashboards and audience insights for advertisers
- Manage reporting tools and flow of data between various systems
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that deliver key insights to advertisers
- Develop effective data visualizations and analytical solutions that provide advertisers access to critical metrics and insights
- Integrate different data sources (e.g., in-platform data, sales data)
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
What you have to offer:
- 4+ years work experience in a quantitative role at a product company
- Proficient in crafting complex and efficient SQL queries for data extraction and reporting purposes
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or MCI (formerly Datorama)
- Proficient in using common analytics tools such as R and Python for advanced statistical analysis, data manipulation, and automation of reporting
- Presentation skills to report analytical findings to managerial audience
- Data science toolkit (SQL, Tableau, or MCI, R or Python)
