The Quaker HR Coordinator will prepare the weekly payroll for our frontline hourly team and support our business partners and HR team by developing processes and tools that are faster, stronger and better for the team. The successful candidate will have a strong data analytics/systems background.
This position will be hybrid with the expectation of being at the Peterborough Quaker Plant 2-3 days per week and balance of days can be worked from home.

Responsibilities
- Administer weekly hourly payroll for approximately 450 supply chain employees across the Peterborough and Trenton plant locations
- Administer special payrolls including year-end adjustment payrolls and ad hoc requests
- Research, analyze and resolves payroll related issues or questions
- Payroll document retention and filing
- Maintain payroll and HR systems related to employee status updates (new hires, transfers, leaves, terminations, rate changes)
- Facilitate comprehensive training and resources for our business leaders
- Recommend or participate in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations locally
- Support frontline Disability Management process and pay (STD, LTD, WCB, modified work, return to work)
- Absenteeism/Leaves Management - Evaluate weekly submissions, with a specific focus on STD, sick, vacation and floater days
- Assist in frontline Pension, RRSP and Benefit enrollment and inquiries
- Ad hoc administrative duties to support manufacturing facilities (Peterborough and Trenton) as well as HR Team support
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- Knowledge of applicable provincial/federal legislation, Employment Standards Act
- Previous experience with Kronos and SAP
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel
- Very strong math and analytical skillset
