The role will help you identify opportunities for future career development in the laboratory team and enhance your technical knowledge and critical thinking.
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Science (majoring in chemistry or other relevant undergraduate degree), or in a technical diploma program (chemistry or other relevant diploma)
You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities:
Record and report analytical results in compliance with established quality assurance and quality control procedures
Comply with the operating and maintenance safe work practices
Follow procedures and comply with standards
Support the department and internal customers by providing analytical, instrumental, and technical problem solving
Complete field sampling
Location and other Key Details:
This is an 8 or 12 month work term starting in January 2025
You will work out of our MacKay River site in Fort McMurray, Alberta
The shift schedule is a 6 days on / 6 days off rotation
