Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of Global Human Resources Technology by ensuring individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Design and Implement Data Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall data architecture for the cloud-based platform, ensuring it supports business requirements and adheres to best practices for SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI) and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Data Integration Management: Lead the integration of diverse data sources using Azure Data Factory, APIs, and batch file processes, ensuring seamless data flow, data quality, and consistency.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of SQL Managed Instance and other data components to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Data Governance and Security: Establish and enforce data governance policies, data quality standards, and security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions that align with the overall data strategy.
- Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, integration processes, and standards to ensure clarity, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support for data-related issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the data architecture, integration processes, and overall data management strategy.

- Technical Proficiency: Possesses deep expertise in complex technical processes and stays updated on emerging technological trends.
Education / Experience / Other Information
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field: Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in data architecture and data management: Proven track record in designing and implementing data solutions on cloud platforms, particularly with SQL MI and ADF or similar tools.
- Strong experience with data integration technologies: Proficiency in integrating data from various sources using APIs, batch file processes, and other ETL tools. Also cloud providers like GCP, Azure, …
- In-depth knowledge of data governance and security practices: Experience in implementing data governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and optimize data architecture for performance and scalability.
- B2 Level of English
Working Conditions
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
