The Cyber security Operations play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's IT infrastructure and data. This position is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and incidents within our environment. You will work closely with other IT teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems and data.
In this exciting role, you will be working alongside a team of high performing, 24x7 on-call Cyber Security Operations professionals who are skilled and knowledgeable regarding all facets of Cyber Security and technology. You will be performing investigative research, analysis and troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and report complex Cyber Security related issues and/or incidents.

What you have to offer:
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor network traffic, systems, and security logs for suspicious activity.
- Review, investigate, and remediate escalations received from Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
- Utilize security tools and technologies to identify and analyze potential threats.
- Conduct incident response investigations to determine the root cause and scope of security breaches.
- Implement established incident response procedures to contain, eradicate, and recover from security incidents.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to preform response activities and mitigate further damage.
- Document incident response activities and lessons learned for future reference.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT teams on security best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Analyze threat intelligence data to identify potential risks and inform security strategies.
- Generate regular reports on security incidents, threat trends, and the effectiveness of security measures.
What you have to offer:
Mandatory:
- An undergraduate degree or diploma in computer science, information security, or related technical discipline.
- 2-3+ years of industry experience working in Cybersecurity operations.
- Strong understanding of network and system security concepts.
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, Email security gateway).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on on-call rotations, including nights and weekends, to respond to security incidents outside of regular business hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Have:
- Proven experience working in or with MSSPs.
- Security+, CySA+, CEH, or similar industry certification, is preferred.
- Knowledge working in a complex retail technology environment, is desired.
- Familiarity providing Cyber operations sustainment criteria and provide input as part of large-scale business-related projects.
