Adecco is actively seeking a Plant Controller for a well-established client in Brampton, ON. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a financial expert with experience in manufacturing or a similar sector. The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing plant financial activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to senior management. The ideal candidate will be adept at preparing financial reports, managing forecasts, and analyzing costs in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: $100k-120k/year.

Responsibilities:
Perform various account postings and reconciliations, ensuring accurate monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare complex financial analyses for business opportunities and assess associated risks.
Ensure SOX documentation and compliance requirements are met.
Lead the preparation and submission of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and weekly flash forecasts. Track and report on purchasing expenses and headcount in comparison to the budget.
Assist and advise management in evaluating financial aspects of business ventures, including cash flow, ROI, capital requirements, and pricing.
Provide financial information for annual external audits.
Ensure plant reports are accurate and issued within deadlines, and monitor workflow to improve operational efficiency.
Perform financial analyses as requested, focusing on improving efficiency and optimizing financial decision-making.
Supervise employees and assist in establishing goals, implementing accounting control procedures, and ensuring compliance with operational policies and safety standards.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, completion of CMA or CPA.
At least 2-3 years of experience in banking, finance, or accounting, with a solid understanding of US GAAP/IFRS.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and cost management systems.
Experience with financial and non-financial measurement systems.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
Ability to respect and maintain the confidential nature of financial data.
Experience in strategic financial planning and team management.
