Our organization is seeking a Full-Time Product Manager to join our Smart Buildings Team! In this role, you will play a key role in defining and executing the smart buildings retrofit strategy. This involves identifying opportunities to upgrade and retrofit older building infrastructures with cutting-edge technologies, ensuring that they meet modern sustainability and efficiency standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver retrofit projects that maximize energy savings, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance occupant satisfaction.
You’ll be passionate about understanding industry trends, user needs, and emerging technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a critical role in helping us meet our ambitious goals for sustainability, innovation, and growth. This role requires you to be highly strategic, collaborative, and innovative, with a keen eye on how smart technologies can transform building management and improve the overall occupant experience.

What you'll be doing:
- Develop long-term strategy for retrofitting buildings, prioritizing high impact areas like energy efficiency, and occupant comfort within commercial and MDU markets.
- Stay updated on the latest smart buildings technologies, property technology innovations, and competitor activities to keep Rogers’ offerings cutting edge.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners, and ensure smooth collaboration with industry leaders to integrate the best solutions into Rogers’ smart buildings ecosystem.
- Manage and maintain contracts, vendor and sales performance, and troubleshoot any integration challenges that arise with vendors.
- Conduct research to understand occupant needs and experiences with building technologies to inform future feature development and system improvements.
- Create strong and persuasive value propositions for our new products to help customers and the sales team make informed decisions.
- Present your strategic plans, project updates, and results to Rogers’ leadership teams.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our customers, competitive landscape, market trends, technology, offerings, and internal strategies and capabilities.
What you will bring:
- Thrive in working in an evolving, fast-paced and dynamic environments, and within cross-functional teams.
- Capable of working autonomously with strong initiative, able to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and take ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of business and technology, commercial agreements and negotiations, channel sales and enablement.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to present recommendations to executive leadership to support key decision making.
- Proven experience working with property technology solutions that enhance real estate operations and customer experiences through digital innovation.
- Demonstrated expertise in asset management, overseeing property portfolios, optimizing asset performance, and ensuring profitable growth through strategic planning.
- Fluent in the use of business software tools such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, with working knowledge of pivots to asses data, conduct analysis and prepare reports and presentations.
- A go-getter with a proven track record of actively seeking out challenges and opportunities to improve processes, drive projects, and achieve results without needing detailed guidance.
- Strong oral/written communication skills to present ideas for alignment and ability to adapt to changing business needs in a complex, matrix organization.
- University or College degree is preferred.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
