Responsibilities
The Sr Financial Analyst – Gatorade & Concentrate FP&A contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada’s success by acting as an integral part of the Canadian Finance team. In addition to providing business and strategic support, this position contributes to PBC’s success by proactively monitoring business trends and identifying risks and opportunities. Key stakeholders include Sales Strategy, Supply Chain Finance, Customer Finance, FP&A, Central Finance, and Pepsico Beverages North America FP&A. Success in this role will require results-driven behavior, intellectual curiosity, strong collaboration abilities, good organizational skills, strong financial acumen and the ability work both independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Own period and quarterly Gatorade & Concentrate P&L forecasts; Analyze and advise on risks and opportunities
- Support annual COGS proxy process by leading process to update Concentrate funding rates for PBC Canada and throughout year adding funding rates to any innovations to ensure accurate Net COGS reporting
- Identify and communicate the key "causes of change" versus forecasts
- Analyze key performance drivers and make recommendations
- Own relationship with our Joint Venture Partners to explain variances and update forecasts
- Manage the SBP and AOP process for the Concentrate P&L and Gatorade
- Support in the testing and implementation of SAP based solutions for reporting
- Maintain (complex) Excel forecasting models and tools
- Consolidate Financial reports, QBP, AOP and forecasts
- Leverage and develop tools to assist FP&A
- Support Finance and multifunctional teams on ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
- University degree in Business or Equivalent Business Experience; Accounting Designation / MBA an asset but not required.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong organizational skills, technical, problem solving, planning, and analytical skills.
- Experience in analyzing or forecasting Profit and Loss results.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are a key requirement.
- Previous SAP/Mosaic/Cockpit software experience an asset.
- Bilingual verbal communication skills (French/English) an asset but not required.
