Purpose
Lead and oversees Global Finance & Risk Technology - Quality Assurance Automation in Bogota, Colombia ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
•Be part of the customer focused culture mindset that helps to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
•Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
•Create and implement detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client’s needs, while being cost effective;
•Monitor debugging process results and define correction actions;
•Track quality assurance metrics;
•Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies;
•Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
•Contributes to maintaining an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Education and Experience
- Advanced Level of English (B2)
- Expertise in SQL(1-2 years), JAVA (1-2 years), Craft (automation tool, (1-2 years) good to have), OATS (Nice to have), Selenium (must) and automated testing tools are critical as you lead the automation process working cohesively with manual testers and developers to produce nothing short of high quality work in exciting high profile projects to put quality products to market.
- Proven work experience in software development ((1-2 years),
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance (1-2 years),
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes (1-2 years),
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
- Experience with writing simple or complex SQL queries for data validation
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing;
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools;
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting;
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process (must)
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus (good to have)
- Demonstrable, practical hands on experience with using HP ALM / JIRA (must)
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities
