Role overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Hana Administrator who will be catering to clients in North America and supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales/delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.
What you’ll do
- Proactively supervise databases, automate processes, optimize configurations, document standard methodologies, solve and share knowledge with the basis team
- Develop proactive monitoring for HANA databases, using automation where possible
- Review existing HANA database(s) for configuration/tuning improvements
- Develop/Document best practices for SAP HANA Solve and share knowledge with existing Basis team
- Monitoring, triage, and proposing/implementing remediation of defects and/or improvement.
What you bring to the role
- Demonstrated ability with installing, configuring, supervising and tuning SAP HANA 2.0 SP05 or greater and tuning SAP HANA XS Advanced
- Experience with SAP HANA Cockpit Manager to coordinate/tune HANA databases
- Experience using RHEL Linux
- Experience developing operational documentation
- Experience using SAP HANA Native Storage Extension (NSE) with SAP HANA 2.0 SP05 or greater
- Experience with HANA SSO SAML authentication
- Certification in SAP HANA DB 2.0
- Experience with SAP BTP administration
- Experience configuring/managing SAP ChaRM for CTS and CTS+ landscapes
- 5+ years Basis Administration experience

Working arrangements
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in our client's office in Toronto or London, ON.
