Responsible for the planning, management and execution of the specialist Dimensional Control Contractor and Grillage and Sea Fastening Removal Contractor’s Operations, ensuring compliance with company, project, client and legal requirements for safety, quality, budget and schedule.
Responsible for constructability input throughout project development and execution to ensure a positive, safe and efficient outcome for the project.
Essential Job Functions:
• Participate in development of project execution strategy, design and constructability reviews etc.
• Liaise with engineering groups to ensure designs are in compliance with constructability needs.
• Liaise with heavy lift and transport and shipping groups to develop technical details of equipment delivery.
• Maintains liaison among the contractor, the company and the design engineer
• Evaluates change requests and interfaces with the contract administrator for the initiation and development of contract modifications
• Investigates and resolves engineering and technical-related problems
• Remains knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner and, while supervising others, has responsibility for their safety and ensures that they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits
• Production, review and issue of technical documentation to ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements.
• Manage and co-ordinate contractors and team personnel.
• Manage financial performance of assigned contracts.
• Provide support to site operations as required, ensuring safety, quality, adherence to procedures and efficient use of resources.
• Recording and reporting project progress as required by management.
Essential Job Functions Under Certain Circumstances:
• Writes progress reports to be submitted to company management, as requested.
• May be required to assist heavy lift and transport engineers.
• Performs other related duties
