The opportunity:
We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a 4-month Consultant intern/co-op working in our Calgary practice starting in Summer (May to August) 2025. Positions are available in the following service lines:

People and Change
People & Change consulting is a fast-growing business. Finance Transformation
KPMG’s Finance Transformation Advisory Practice helps organizations maximize efficiencies and drive business value across the enterprise. We help our clients to strengthen and transform their finance/accounting operations by improving transparency, information integrity and governance to increase profitability and drive business insights. With a global network of professionals working in KPMG member firms around the world, Finance Transformation collaborates closely with CFOs and other finance/accounting leaders and empowers them to become insightful business partners. We focus on a variety of areas surrounding our “Finance of the Future” vision to drive strategy and implementation across finance/accounting operations optimization, target operating model design, finance technology selection and technology enabled transformation, and regulatory compliance transformation. We are trusted advisors in budgeting, forecasting, period close/consolidation, project accounting, managerial accounting, reporting and analytics, and all other areas of finance transformation including ERP & EPM systems.
Procurement & Supply Chain Solutions
KPMG’s Procurement and Supply Chain Solutions understands the complexities of designing and managing supply chains, and our strategic business approach helps create and sustain bottom-line value across the extended supply chain -- from suppliers to customers. We help our clients to strengthen and transform their Procurement and Supply Chain functions by improving transparency, information integrity and governance to increase profitability and drive business insight. The Procurement and Supply Chain service includes various aspects such as S2P Strategy and Transformation, e-Procurement selection and implementation, P2P/S2C diagnostics, Supply & Demand Planning, Inventory Management Review and Design, Technology Strategy and Solution Design. We are trusted advisors in all areas of Procurement and Supply Chain design, including data analytics & visualization and technology architecture across various industries (i.e. Mining, O&G, Utilities, Retail, Construction, etc.)
Technology Strategy and Transformation
KPMG's Technology Strategy and Transformation service is a part of their Management Consulting practice. It is designed to help businesses align their technology capabilities with their strategic and operational objectives. This service provides guidance on how to leverage technology to transform business operations, improve performance, and create value. The Technology Strategy and Transformation service includes various aspects such as IT strategy development, IT cost optimization, IT architecture and solutions design, digital and emerging technology solutions, IT service management, and IT sourcing and procurement. The goal is to help organizations make informed decisions about technology investments and deployments, and to manage the risks associated with these decisions.
Enterprise Solutions
Enterprise Solutions has many pillars such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Workday. Our practice works to bring expertise in services covering end to end system implementations and technology transformations. We recognize that the technology landscape is rapidly changing; our practice stays ahead by embracing innovation and industry guiding solutions to transform businesses. Our team is deeply experienced in the full range of technological challenges, from complex transformations to innovative technologies and architectures.

What you bring to the role
For Consultant Level:
- You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, Arts, etc.)
- You are currently in your second, or third year of study
- You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of obstacles and opportunities
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You have a strong academic record
- You have the ability to work independently without supervision, and to work well in a team.
- You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
- You have a strong sense of personal accountability
- You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver
