Spectrum is one of TELUS’ five team member resource groups dedicated to diversity. Founded in 2009, Spectrum is a resource group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied (LGBTQ+) team members. Through advocacy, education, networking, sponsorships and volunteering, our 2,100+ Spectrum members help support TELUS’ vision of diversity and inclusiveness and help us deliver our brand promise – the future is friendly – to our team members, customers and the communities in which we live and serve.


Our vision is simple: to ensure TELUS drives positive impacts as an LGBTQ+ champion, globally. We will accomplish this by:
  • Connecting with the unique needs of our LGBTQ+ customers as their provider of choice.
  • Empowering team members to bring their whole selves to work in a supportive and inclusive culture.
  • Enhancing our connections with the global LGBTQ+ community by giving where we live and encouraging the establishment of new chapters around the globe in partnership with our TELUS International team.
