DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, October 21 | 12 PM EDT \nAs per section 2 of the Pride at Work Canada/Fierté au travail Canada By-law\, Proud Partners also become Members of the Corporation. Each member (Employer) is entitled to receive notice of\, attend and vote at all Meetings of Members of the Corporation. \nMeetings of Members include our Annual Meeting\, which will take place at 12 PM ET on Tuesday\, October 21 this year. The quorum for all Meetings of Members is 25%\, so please participate in your right to vote as a member of the Corporation! Your participation in Pride at Work Canada’s governance helps us continue to achieve our vision of a nation where every individual can achieve their full potential at work regardless of gender expression\, gender identity\, and sexual orientation. \nThe following are accomplished at Annual Meetings: Election and Confirmation of Directors and Officers of the Corporation\, Appointment of the Corporation’s public accountant\, Acknowledgement of receipt of financial statements and reports from the public accountant\, Remarks from special guest speakers\, Other business as required \nPlease join us for our 2025 Annual Meeting on Tuesday\, Oct 21\, at 12 PM ET via Zoom. \nImmediately following the meeting\, we will be joined by special guest speaker Imagine Canada’s President & CEO\, Bruce MacDonald\, to talk about the Imagine Canada’s Standards Program and the impact of the non-profit sector. \nEach Proud Partner contact would have received an email with the official notice of the meeting and an invite to RSVP. \nIf you have any questions about the meeting or hasn’t received the email\, please contact\nAlbert Lin (he/him) at albert.lin@prideatwork.ca.
