Cette \u00e9tude constitue une occasion importante de combler des lacunes persistantes dans la fa\u00e7on dont les politiques f\u00e9d\u00e9rales d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi reconnaissent et r\u00e9pondent aux obstacles syst\u00e9miques.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4521046 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/prideatwork.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Jade_option2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"831\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/prideatwork.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Jade_option2.jpg 831w, https:\/\/prideatwork.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Jade_option2-450x182.jpg 450w, https:\/\/prideatwork.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Jade_option2-750x303.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 180px, (max-width: 450px) 450px, (max-width: 750px) 750px, (max-width: 1170px) 1170px, (max-width: 1440px) 1440px, (max-width: 1920px) 1920px, 831px\" \/><\/h5>\n<h5>Pourquoi c\u2019est important<\/h5>\n<p>Depuis trop longtemps, les travailleur\u00b7euses 2ELGBTQI+ sont exclu\u00b7es de la structure formelle de la Loi sur l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi. Cette exclusion a des cons\u00e9quences r\u00e9elles : sans d\u00e9signation, les communaut\u00e9s ne sont pas recens\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re coh\u00e9rente, les \u00e9carts ne sont pas mesur\u00e9s et les obstacles syst\u00e9miques ne sont pas trait\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re ad\u00e9quate.<\/p>\n<p>Ce t\u00e9moignage devant le S\u00e9nat a permis de souligner :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de d\u00e9signer explicitement les communaut\u00e9s 2ELGBTQI+ dans la l\u00e9gislation sur l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi;<\/li>\n<li>l\u2019importance de la collecte de donn\u00e9es intersectionnelles et de la transparence;<\/li>\n<li>les effets plus larges du manque de reconnaissance des communaut\u00e9s dans les cadres d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9raux sur les droits de la personne.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La modernisation de l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi n\u2019est pas symbolique, elle est structurelle.
