La mouvance anti-genre intensifie les offensives contre les personnes queer et trans au Canada. Je re\u00e7ois depuis plusieurs semaines des messages d\u2019employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s inquiet\u00b7e\u00b7s, m\u00eame terrifi\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s, de partout au pays.<\/p>\n<p>Jamais votre leadership en tant qu\u2019organisation Fi\u00e8re partenaire n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi crucial. Comme employeur engag\u00e9 dans la protection des droits de la personne, r\u00e9it\u00e9rer votre appartenance \u00e0 notre r\u00e9seau devient encore plus important :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Les droits de la personne sont non n\u00e9gociables<\/strong>. Il s\u2019agit de v\u00e9ritables obligations l\u00e9gales et non de simples valeurs d\u2019entreprise. En prenant des mesures proactives pour prot\u00e9ger ces droits, vous jouez un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la pr\u00e9vention de l\u2019infiltration de la rh\u00e9torique anti-queer et trans au sein de votre environnement de travail.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Le vocabulaire officiel de l\u2019EDI devient maintenant un enjeu<\/strong>. Les mots sur lesquels nous nous appuyons, tels qu\u2019\u00ab\u2009inclusion\u2009\u00bb et \u00ab\u2009appartenance\u2009\u00bb, sont manipul\u00e9s pour en alt\u00e9rer le sens. Bien que votre responsabilit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de droits de la personne demeure, il est bon de recadrer ses efforts et de privil\u00e9gier des termes plus f\u00e9d\u00e9rateurs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nous traversons une crise<\/strong>. Les discours neutres ne suffisent pas. Dans sa politique int\u00e9rieure, notre pays voisin nie l\u2019existence des personnes queer et trans. Vos employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s ont besoin de savoir que vous les consid\u00e9rez et les appr\u00e9ciez pour qui elles et ils sont. Le silence cr\u00e9e l\u2019isolement. Votre soutien fait toute la diff\u00e9rence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fiert\u00e9 au travail Canada\/Pride at Work Canada publiera prochainement une trousse d\u2019outils et travaille sans rel\u00e2che pour vous donner rapidement acc\u00e8s aux ressources dont vous avez besoin pour faire face aux d\u00e9fis id\u00e9ologiques actuels. Nous sommes l\u00e0 pour vous soutenir dans vos d\u00e9marches.<\/p>\n<p>Je vous sugg\u00e8re fortement d\u2019engager des discussions avec vos \u00e9quipes, si ce n\u2019est pas d\u00e9j\u00e0 amorc\u00e9.
