How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Operate and maintain audiovisual equipment in a hospitality-focused environment, including event setup/teardown, troubleshooting, repairs, and vendor coordination to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Maintain equipment inventory for office equipment.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including room setups and teardowns.
- Provide basic support and instruction to customers.
- Addresses and resolves issues with other office technical equipment, including diagnosing hardware and software challenges (coordinate with vendors as required).
- Maintains employee hardware equipment inventory (e.g. cell phones, computer floaters, etc.)
- Performs mail, shipping and receiving activities.
- Completes the ordering, inventory and stocking of office supplies.
- Assists with moves, restages furniture plus other specialized office products/equipment.
- Works closely with a network of contractors, vendors and landlord to facilitate optimal workplace operations.
- Coordinates and monitors online service request system and channels to stay on top of workflow and tasks.
- Conducts workplace inspections and audits in coordination with Operations Leader.
- Participates in and at times, leads regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 2 years minimum experience in executive meeting support or hotel corporate events support.
- Hands-on experience with AV systems (e.g., projectors, video conferencing, sound systems), Cisco video conferencing systems and general office equipment.
- Required to be in the office Mon-Fri.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to employ solid judgement in the resolution of problems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with ability to learn new software programs
