Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Varicent developer to join our team. The perfect candidate will demonstrate advanced technical proficiency in Varicent Development and Varicent Data Integration.
What you’ll do
- Own the design and implementation of Varicent solutions to meet business requirements.
- Lead all aspects of the integration of Varicent with various data sources to ensure flawless data flow.
- Provide technical expertise in Varicent Development to optimize performance and functionality.
- Work closely with teams from different functions to capture and analyze requirements for Varicent projects.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through meticulous testing and validation processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Varicent configurations and integrations.
- Address and resolve issues related to Varicent applications and integrations.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of Varicent systems to ensure they align with business needs.
- Mentor and support junior team members in Varicent development and integration tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest Varicent features and standard methodologies to improve solutions.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality Varicent solutions that drive business value.
- Participate in project planning and provide estimates for Varicent-related tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all Varicent implementations.
What you bring to the role
- Exhibit 6 to 10 years of extensive technical knowledge in Varicent Development and Varicent Data Integration.
- Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant roles.
- Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exhibit good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Show proficiency in documenting technical processes and solutions.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
Working arrangements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto.
