Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Supervisor for Reconditioning & Returns for our client, who are dedicated to providing high-quality products to their customers while ensuring sustainability through efficient product reconditioning and returns processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of reconditioning returned items, managing returns processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a crucial role in maintaining product quality and maximizing the value of returned goods.

Pay Rate: $75,000/year
Location: Delta, BC
Shift: Monday to Friday | 6.00am to 3.00pm

Responsibilities:
Adhere to DCAN return process: Ensure compliance with the return process and report any deviations to the Yard & Warehouse and/or Operations Manager.
Maintain returns log: Keep an organized returns log, ensuring that all processes comply with companie's product quality standards and criteria.
Plan workforce needs: Schedule daily and weekly labor requirements based on business demands, closely monitoring overtime hours and costs.
Label and organize returns: Ensure all returns are properly labeled and unprocessed items are kept in designated areas.
Allocate tasks efficiently: Assign tasks to maximize labor productivity and ensure efficient operation.
Motivate and train team: Develop a cohesive team by motivating, training, and providing development opportunities.
Enforce ergonomic and safety practices: Train employees on the safe and ergonomic use of tools and equipment, empowering them to take ownership of safety and maintenance.
Ensure safety compliance: Consistently implement and monitor safety policies, conduct bi-weekly safety meetings, and ensure employees use approved safety equipment.
Provide necessary tools: Ensure the proper tools are available at each workspace, ordering replacements timely and according to Companies checklist.
Enhance product knowledge: Continuously train returns staff on product knowledge and yard organization for efficient operations.
Manage logistics: Oversee the logistics of all materials to ensure proper storage, avoiding mix-ups and congestion.
Dispose of damaged materials: Ensure proper disposal of damaged or scrap materials in line with company policies and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and order: Manage the yard and warehouse to comply with company cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
Ensure accurate paperwork: Process and ensure the timely flow of paper orders accurately.
Monitor productivity: Continuously monitor, document, and report on the productivity of returns.
Handle WSIB claims: Complete and report required WSIB claims documentation, reviewing each claim with the Branch Yard Manager.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High School Education required; 1-2 years of Post-Secondary education in a related field preferred.
2 years of experience in a Supervisory role.
Valid forklift license and relevant field experience.
Experience in administration, operations, or controlling preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; intermediate Excel skills required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with a command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
