WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
In this role, candidates will be evaluating, designing, developing, implementing and supporting critical middleware solutions for RBC business applications. Candidate will also provide technical consulting to application development groups on design and proper use of capabilities offered by our middleware platforms.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Provide development, QA support, deployment and technical consulting for IBM ISAM and other middleware developed applications
- Document detailed design, deployment instructions and other artefacts as required by RBC processes.
- Conduct design reviews when required.
- Learn new technologies : DataPower, etc
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
MUST-HAVE:
- 3+ years hands-on experience on IBM ISAM/ISVA development
- 3+ years of experience with Security technologies such as: X.509 certificates and mutual authentication, tokens (JWT, OAuth, SAML, Kerberos, LTPA, etc)
- 3+ years of experience with Client facing Applications (HTTP/S, sessions, cookies, authentication and authorization, SSO, etc)
- General exposure to network topologies (firewalls, load balancers, DNS)
- Experience with enterprise formal development processes
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Development experience or exposure to DataPower platform is an asset
- Agile development experience
- DevOps experience, at least minimal stack (GitHub, Jenkins, UCD or equivalent)
- Banking/Financial background
