ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning, you will:
Contribute to the development of PSP’s annual corporate and group business plans; which includes defining priorities and measures of success for the year, supporting the development of the capital plan, and aligning execution capacity
Help build and maintain a business performance framework, tracking performance against corporate KPIs and inform reports on progress to senior management
Support the ongoing evolution of PSP’s corporate strategy by monitoring and researching changes in our investment environment
Participate in the planning and execution of PSP’s strategic annual offsites (Board of Directors, Senior Leadership)
Participate in the execution of special strategy projects and additional team priorities
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree with track record of high academic achievement and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience
Considered assets: relevant work experiences (e.g. consulting, corporate planning), master’s degree or MBA in relevant field, relevant certifications (e.g. CFA)
Demonstrated analytical skills; able to synthesize data and “connect the dots”
Strong ability to structure, organize and communicate ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity in a high-performing culture, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines
Strong attention to detail and rigor when producing deliverables for the team
Ability to work collaboratively and cultivate meaningful relationships with colleagues; has a desire and ability to develop as a positive ambassador for the team across PSP
A respect for differences of opinion and an inclusive mindset
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
