ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Administrative Assistant, Canada Growth Fund Investment Management, you’ll support the Chief Investment Officer. Specifically, you’ll :
Perform all administrative duties, including for example, prioritizing email requests, calendar management, the planning of meetings, appointments and conference, electronic filing, managing the inbox, as well as answering phone and email requests
Attend team meetings, produce and distribute minutes, when applicable
Serve as a liaison agent with the various stakeholders
Coordinate meetings and conference calls and prepare documents required
Support in creating or reviewing of reports and various documents such as presentations to the committees, to Management team, etc
Create and prepare PowerPoint presentations, as requested
Prepare correspondence and translate if required
Schedule complex travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
Create and maintain filing systems
Ensure that requests for action or information are relayed to the appropriate persons within the team
Lead special projects and event planning
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
College degree in office administration or equivalent education
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in a financial or professional environment
Excellent client service approach and high degree of flexibility to respond in a timely and positive manner to unexpected requests
Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment
High level of proactiveness, agility and accountability in meeting deadlines
Effective communicator, both written and spoken, and confident to interact with high profile executives and ability to represent Senior Leaders in a professional manner
Solution-oriented
Strong ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism, discretion and good judgement
Aptitude for working in collaborative team environments with a focus on maturity, proactive communication, relationship building skills and resiliency
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Thorough knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel and the interest and capacity to adapt to new technologies and tool
Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
