Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and reliable Liquid Filling Operator to join our client’s production team Belleville, ON. The Liquid Filling Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining liquid filling equipment to ensure products are accurately and safely filled into containers according to quality standards. This role requires strict adherence to safety and sanitation procedures and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

- Operate liquid filling equipment according to production schedules, ensuring products are accurately filled and sealed in containers.
- Monitor the liquid filling process to ensure proper operation and product consistency, adjusting machinery as needed to maintain quality.
- Perform routine checks on filling levels, sealing, and labeling to meet product specifications and standards.
- Clean and sanitize filling equipment and work areas in accordance with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP).
- Conduct regular inspections of containers to ensure proper fill levels, seals, and labeling accuracy.
- Report and address any mechanical, quality, or safety issues that arise during production.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of filling machines for different product runs.
- Accurately document production data, including batch numbers, lot codes, and filling records.
- Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies, including the proper handling of chemicals and raw materials.
- Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as required, escalating issues to the maintenance team when necessary
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing is a plus.
- Previous experience as a filling machine operator or in a similar role in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of food safety standards, such as HACCP and GMP, and a commitment to maintaining sanitation protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot filling machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production deadlines.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
