The Opportunity
The Supply Management Team supports SAIT through the management of centralized purchasing, strategic
sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management and supply chain management to the campus.
Reporting directly to the Manager, Supply Management, the Supply Chain Intern is a student worker position to
support Supply Management team in daily purchasing administrative tasks. The role will give the Intern Student
opportunity to learn procurement services and supply chain solutions.
As a member of the Supply Management team, this position will be an active contributor in supporting the
efficiency of SAIT’s supply chain management. The Supply Chain Intern will work as part of Supply Chain Analytics team to support SAIT's supply programs and supply chain analysis.
Supply Chain Intern will also be assisting Purchasing Officers’ with their procurement workload and contract filing.
The Supply Chain Intern will have the opportunity to learn SAIT’s supply chain process and procedure and gain
good knowledge in supply chain management.
