Job Summary:
The Plan Operations, Learning & Performance Advisor’s primary focus will be on the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the in-house Knowledge Management system (iKNOW) along with supporting training initiatives as required. The successful candidate must have extensive experience with Knowledge Management tools, maintaining content, managing stakeholder relationships, adult learning principles, and designing learning & development programs.
What you will do:
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the Plan Operations Knowledge Management (KM) system known as iKNOW (confluence).
Take a lead role in creating, maintaining, and contributing to our internal KM system. Proactively curate content that aligns with our governance model.
Standardize content format and structure for consistency and ease of use along with ensuring that content is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
Provide creative solutions to optimize content delivery and knowledge sharing.
Support and evolve the quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the information.
Identify opportunities for improvement in the system’s structure, user interface, and functionality.
Recommend new and innovative methods to increase engagement with KM tools; ensure alignment to broader organizational divisional goals.
Have the ability to create a supportive environment to have collaborative conversations with various stakeholders on KM best practices.
Provide support in planning, organizing, designing, and implementing comprehensive learning content to support Plan Operations strategic initiatives.
Apply solid instructional design skills, effective e-learning principles and creativity to course design
Have the ability to engage stakeholders and project sponsors from across Plan Operations to create a win-win situation for the learners
Deploy post program analysis, measurement, and evaluation tools to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions. Be able to make recommendations for improvement when required.
Act as a role model by modelling behaviours that support a collaborative, growth mindset, learner-centric culture.
What you bring:
Preferred 5 years of experience in Knowledge Management technologies and in designing learning & development programs.
Adult Learn Diploma or certification preferred.
Certified Training and Development Professional (CSTD) an asset.
Considerable experience with collaborative tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or other KM platforms.
Extensive experience in Instructional Design, Writing, Education, Communication enterprise systems.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing training programs at enterprise level.
Extensive experience with defined benefit pension plans or in retirement industry an asset.
Strong experience with eLearning development tools – such as Camtasia, Adobe Premier, Adobe Captivate, Lectora any Articulate products and eLearning content production lifecycle experience.
*Adobe Premier and Articulate experience is preferableExtensive experience with the Microsoft suite of tools including SharePoint online.
Current knowledge and experience with learning measurement and evaluation methodologies and best practices.
Exceptional communication, feedback, and presentation skills.
