BCIT's School of Transportation is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Toolroom Attendant. Operating in a quality assurance environment this position provides assistance to instructors and students of the Heavy Equipment Group by performing the duties related to the tool room such as: issuing and receiving consumables, tools and training materials; carry out minor repairs on tools and equipment; preparing purchase requisitions; monitoring and maintaining tool inventory; and workshop supplies and consumable costs for the Heavy Equipment Group; and to maintain a high customer service standard, cleanliness and organization of the tool room and workshops.
