What you’ll do
- Provide adaptable and professional technical support to users in both English and French via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Coordinate, document, assign, and prioritize service requests using an online ticketing system
- Diagnose and tackle hardware, software, and enterprise system issues, including desktop and laptop problems.
- Help users with VPN setup and resolve connectivity issues, wireless router configurations, and password resets to ensure efficient access to systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access using Active Directory.
- Support desktop/laptop setup, including imaging, installations, and system updates, to ensure flawless user experiences.
- Coordinate with senior IT staff and share feedback to improve service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ticketing records while following department processes.
What you bring to the role
- Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is required.
- 1+ years of proven IT support, preferably in a 24x7 environment.
- Expertise with desktop applications like MS Office, Adobe, and Google Suite.
- Solid grasp of VPN concepts and resolutions.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, domain controllers, and password reset tools.
- High efficiency in using remote support tools like Bomgar, LogMeIn, or TeamViewer.
- Deep understanding of networking principles, Virtual Machines, and Citrix environments.
- Proficiency in ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Outstanding professional interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Dedication to providing user-focused solutions and delivering timely resolutions.
- A proactive approach to learning new tools and technologies.
