JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Campaigns, the Manager, (Mass Tribute Products - TBD) is responsible for end-to-end oversight in enhancing existing – and developing new – mass tribute products and programs (In Memory, In Honour, Funeral Home Engagement, “Grateful Patient”) to achieve the national mass marketing revenue goals.
The successful candidate is a highly skilled product marketer with a proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. This role will work collaboratively across the mass marketing verticals and internal and external cross-functional teams to develop the product value proposition, execute go-to-market plans, monitor the key performance indicators to increase the product revenue per donor. Using exceptional communication skills and advanced product marketing knowledge, they develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver omni-channel and effective product and conversion experience.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
1. Mass Tribute Product Performance Management
- Working with the Senior Manager, develops strategies and plans for Tribute Mass product development (and its various offers including extension), aligning them with company goals and market/donor needs.
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
- Work with agency and Senior Manager to develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates CCS Mass Tribute products across primary market segments
- Monitors and analyzes product performance and product retention, gathering insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize product offerings.
- Researches and analyzes market trends (local and global) consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies and donor preferences.
- Manage resources and budgets effectively.
- Assess new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
2. Go-To-Market Process Oversight
- Working with the Senior Manager, develop strategies for integrated campaign including product acquisition, cross-sell, and consumer journey.
- Manages cross-functional teams providing guidance, direction, and support to achieve project and operational objectives.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, agency partners and 3rd party vendors to ensure successful launch of products backed up by a well-coordinated operational process.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (Donor Experience & Engagement, Digital, Data/Analytics, Brand Marketing and Communications, Social Media, Partnerships, Finance) to flawlessly execute all phases of the product launch plan including developing the product value proposition, product marketing (segment/channel) assets and product lifecycle touchpoints (stewardship).
3. Mass Tribute Product Integrations across CCS Programs
- Collaborates with channel subject matter experts both offline and online in developing acquisition strategies to ensure offer performance growth.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on the product feature, benefits, development and operational releases drive acquisitions, conversion, retention/renewal.
- Provide monthly and quarterly product analysis, key insights, commentary and socialize product learning, best-practices.
4. Contribute to a strong Mass Marketing and CCS team by positively contributing to CCS Values and Operations
- Follows all guidelines established by national leadership including, Marketing, Communications, Digital Support, Finance, Team People, IT and others.
- Maintains relationship data for partners in CRM database (Salesforce).
- Foster a working environment that highlights the talents and strengths of each team member, acknowledging and celebrating successes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management
- More than 3 years, up to and including 5 years - similar or related general experience in progressively more important positions
- Exceptional product management track record of success in conceptualizing and launching innovative products, with focus on driving revenue growth and product innovation
- Comprehensive knowledge of product marketing, direct response marketing and donor engagement
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Data driven with strong analytical skills to identify gaps and opportunities to leverage
- Professional presence with excellent two-way communication and presentation skills, and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly regardless of audience
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration and building strong relationships
- Knowledge of product development processes and industry trends, staying informed about emerging technologies and consumer preferences
- Excellent sector knowledge and understanding of the Canadian not–for-profit landscape will be an asset
- Bilingual (English / French) an asset
- A team player who values an environment of open communication and collaboration
