About the role
We’re looking for a Risk & Compliance Advisor to join our growing team!
What you’ll do here:
Develop and execute a control validation framework, methodology and activities, including working with key stakeholders to problem solve through root cause analysis and provide input on setting up appropriate processes & controls within key projects
Develop remediation action plans to address issues identified through ongoing control validation and audits and monitor progress to closure.
Analyze and present results and recommendations on processes and controls, identified through control validation, to key stakeholders at different governance Forums and Committees.
Build key relationships – You will, as you partner with all business functions and leverage Risk, Audit, and peers around the world to adhere to policy and regulatory requirements and external auditor.
Work closely with the leadership team to ensure new and changing processes are appropriately controlled.
What you bring to the table:
College or University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
3-5 years of audit and/or risk management (is an asset).
3+ years within P+C insurance with knowledge of risk and control is an asset.
Related insurance designations CIP, FCIP, CRM.
Proactive and decisive thinking and excellent ability to problem solve and identify solutions through superior negotiation and influencing skills.
You have excellent presentation skills and experience consulting on risk, process & control assessments.
Working knowledge of French would be an asset.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country

Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:
$65,000.00 - $97,600.00What we offer
