Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and reliable Mail Machine Operator to join our client’s team in Richmond Hill, ON. This position is crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of mail using specialized machinery. This role requires that you have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role is required to process with zero errors, operate and comply with privacy laws, ensure all correct inserts, no duplication of printouts and keep the machines running within strict quality controls. You must be able to interpret, communicate and follow written instructions at all levels.

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

• Location: Richmond Hill, ON

• Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Set up mail inserting equipment in accordance with job instructions.

• Load correct components onto machine per job.

• Perform regular and detailed quality checks on all components and finished envelopes to ensure quality standards are met.

• Record/Reconcile daily work as per job instructions.

• Ensure related procedures are followed within guidelines.

• Escalate any non-conformance for jobs or schedule.

• Consistently adhering to applicable Health & Safety policies and procedures

• Perform basic machine maintenance in order to maintain proper machine performance, general housekeeping within work area

• Return unused materials back to the correct locations.

• Ensures stock staging area is kept organized.

Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

• Proficient in the use of electric and manual pallet trucks, as well as sealing equipment.

• Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic computer skills for completing work tasks and documentation.

• Demonstrates the ability to adjust effectively in a dynamic and continuously changing work environment.

• Capable of identifying opportunities for process enhancement and communicating suggestions to the Team Leader.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and perform tasks independently as needed.
