Your Role and Responsibilities
The BSS engages in sales activity of the sales cycle including: opportunity identification, sales/business discussions, solution discovery, opportunity progression and close. They understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements and competitive landscape as it pertains to the Sustainability Software. This role requires a consultative, solutions-focused approach that requires customized presentations.
Responsibilities of a Brand Sales Specialist as trusted advisor includes
- Drive sales cycle from opportunity identification to close and deployment
- Client discovery, delivering tailored solution presentations for key client stakeholders
- Creatively prescribing solutions to help solve business problems
- Communicating these proposals at any level of the business required
Key Responsibilities
- Performs analysis of customer’s business requirements and develops clear definition of the appropriate solution including; operational benefits, value benefits, scenarios and value proposition
- You will possess an understanding of the Maximo Asset Management, Sterling, TRIRIGA platform. Envizi and Environmental Intelligence Suite
- Ensures client success through deployment strategies (i.e. Engaging services and business partners to help a customer successfully deploy the technology)
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Expertise with the IBM Sustainability Portfolio : this role will be a portfolio seller across Maximo Asset Management, Sterling, TRIRIGA platform. Envizi and Environmental Intelligence Suite
- Experience within one or more of the following industries: Cross Industry including Provincial and Local Government.
- Travel: a few days per quarter (occasional).
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 5 years of experience with the IBM and/or competing solutions
- Sales consulting and/or implementation experience is a plus
- Understanding of the systems and products that make up the Sustainability Portfolio.
