The Product Management Leader will show leadership for product analysis, product management, and business analysis teams. This role is split between a Player/Coach role, where time is shared between team management (~50%) and being deployed into squad work (~50%). This position focuses on product research, insights development, requirements development, data analysis, and performance tracking.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading and mentoring a team of product managers and product/business analysts, providing guidance and support, helping them develop in their roles. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
Ensuring that the team's efforts are directed towards achieving the product strategy, aligned with the organization's overall business goals. Define/support product roadmaps that prioritize features and enhancements to achieve strategic goals.
Leveraging research and insights from the Strategy team, oversee and guide the process to gather insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product strategy and decision-making.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to develop clear and detailed product requirements. Ensure that product requirements align with the overall product strategy and vision.
Utilizing data analysis to monitor product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Work with data analysts to extract meaningful insights that can guide product enhancements.
Tracking performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the product. Regularly review and analyze performance data to assess product impact and propose informed adjustments to the product strategy.
Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams/squads, ensuring alignment and coordination to achieve product development and launch objectives.
Engaging with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and internal teams.
You bring:
Proficiency in using product management tools such as Jira, or similar platforms for planning, tracking, and collaboration.
Ability to analyze data to inform product decisions, utilizing tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools.
A solid understanding of technology trends, development methodologies, and frameworks.
Proficient in conducting market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
Familiarity with product development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
