This role sits within Laurentian Bank.
We are seeking an experienced Collibra Platform Developer to design, implement, and maintain data governance solutions using the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform (DIP). You will collaborate with stakeholders to address data architecture needs and customize solutions to support our data management and compliance goals. This role reports to the AVP of Data.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Collibra solutions based on organizational needs.
- Customize data models, business rules, and reports in Collibra.
- Implement and manage data governance processes and workflows.
- Integrate Collibra with data management tools and systems.
- Ensure smooth data flow between Collibra and other applications.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the Collibra platform.
- Apply updates and patches to keep the platform current.
- Create and maintain documentation and training materials.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data stewards, and IT teams to define data governance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
- Stay updated with Collibra features and industry trends for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Collibra, including platform implementation and configuration.
- Proficiency in the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
- Experience with SQL, data integration tools, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with additional data management tools and platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Certifications
- Collibra certifications (e.g., Collibra Certified Developer) are a plus.
