As a Chief Advisor, Technology and Cyber Risk Management for Business Lines on the Technology, Cyber and Data Risk Management team at National Bank, you will act as a second line of defence specialist on information technology and cybersecurity. Your experience in several areas of technology (IT architecture, cloud, cyber) will help you to have a positive impact on our organization.
Your role
- Manage relationships and build trust with business lines, position yourself as an expert advisor for technology and cyber risk management colleagues on the business lines
- Perform due diligence reviews of the technology and cyber risk assessments of projects, products, and sectors carried out by the first line of defence (1LOD)
- Be a second line of defence (2LOD) technology and cyber risk expert when assessing suppliers involved in developing new projects or products
- Oversee the definition and resolution of action plans and exceptions related to assessments
- Manage the development and maintenance of technology and cyber risk management practices
- Help build tools to assess the technology and cyber risks of projects and products developed by the Bank
- Consolidate information and indicators for business line quarterly reports in collaboration with the person on the team responsible for producing them
- Anticipate problems and difficult situations and take the necessary measures to resolve them
Your team
You'll be part of a large, 5-person team in the Technology, Cyber and Data Risk Management sector where you'll report to a Senior Manager of technology, data and cyber risk management. Our team stands out for its involvement as experts helping to provide better support for the IT and cyber teams.

Prerequisites
- University degree and at least 10 years of experience in technology and/or cybersecurity risk management
- Knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity governance in large-scale organizations
- Considerable expertise in the following areas: technology and cyber risk, solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud, DevSecOps, management of obsolescence/technical debt, RPA (robotic process automation), DR, resilience, networks, and AI (artificial intelligence)
- Cybersecurity and IT certifications
- High level of personal integrity and the ability to handle confidential matters in a professional manner and to demonstrate an appropriate level of judgement and maturity.
