Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ Indigenous people are drivers of change in society and Canadian workplaces. This virtual panel discussion hosted by Pride at Work Canada and Indigenous Works will bring light to the many ways that two-spirit and LGBTQ+ Indigenous are instigators of innovation and inclusion in workplaces. Bringing business and community leaders to the discussion we will look at the experiences of two-spirit and LGBTQ+ Indigenous people and how they are innovating and creating change among Canadian employers.

Learning Objectives:

  • The intersectional impact of racism, colonialism, and queerphobia in the workplace and the effect on employee engagement;
  • Ways to address inclusion for two-spirit and LGBTQ+ people in the workplace;
  • Strategies to innovate a culture of belonging for all employees;
  • Employment and workplace system strategies;

Join us as we explore how to create more inclusive workplaces. This discussion is open to all who wish to register.
