Skilled Trades as an industry is changing to foster one of more inclusion and belonging. This virtual panel discussion hosted by Pride at Work Canada/Fierté au travail Canada and the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum will bring business and community leaders in the skilled trades to a discussion of LGBTQ2+ inclusion within the industry. Insights will be shared about the experiences of LGBTQ2+ employees and how skilled trades can keep up with a rapidly changing workforce that is queerer than ever.

Learning Objectives:

  • Ways to be inclusive to LGBTQ2+ people in the skilled trades
  • The changing landscape of skilled tradespeople
  • Strategies to innovate a culture of belonging for all employees in the skilled trades

Join us as we explore intersecting identities to help create more inclusive workplaces. This discussion is open to all who wish to register.
