Brien is the voice and advocate of diversity, inclusion and belonging as the National Director, Early Talent Communities and Inclusive Recruitment at the Royal Bank of Canada. He engineers people-centric recruitment strategies and plans focused on the attraction and engagement of early talent and inclusive recruitment of self-identified Women, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQ+, Women and Persons with Disabilities.
Brien consults with a number of post-secondary and industry advisory boards in support of the overall student learning experience. He is a multi-award winning student experience maker, speaker, podcaster and a published thought leader featured in the Toronto Star, American Banker, Dell Technologies, The Financial Pipeline and CERIC Careering Magazine.
As Podcaster and Producer, Brien hosts his #CoffeeWithConvery Podcast on Anchor® by Spotify with the hopes of inspiring the next generation of students and young talent.
