This webinar will be offered in French.
How can we serve as good allies to our LGBTQ2+ colleagues? Is it appropriate to ask questions, and if so, how and in what context? How can we create more inclusive environments and have a greater impact on inclusion in the workplace? With LGBTQ2+ communities constantly evolving, how can we embrace these changes and stay on top of all these new realities? Join Henri-June Pilote, Executive Director of AlterHéros, as they discuss these issues in this national webinar for Pride at Work Canada partners.
Henri-June Pilote (il/they) is a sexuality education blogger specializing in trans and queer issues. A Gemini/Cancer rising, their activism and involvement in associations are as diverse as the number of ways they have come out. Initially having entered the queer world with their first coming-out as a gouine/dyke, they later came out as transmasculine and non-binary. As the host of the C’est quoi mon genre? podcast, Henri-June addresses issues related to mental health, sexuality, gender identity and sexual orientation in an open and vulnerable way. C’est quoi mon genre? is a platform that aims to give French-speaking LGBTQ+ communities a space and a voice in order to address the significant lack of representation of LGBTQ+ identities in the French-speaking world. Since 2018, Henri-June Pilote is also Executive Director of AlterHéros, a community organization that works to support the development of young people ages 14 to 30 around sexual orientation, gender identity and sexuality.Registration for this event has closed.
