Mission

Our mission is to strongly advocate for all members of the 2SLGBTQIA community in Red Deer and Central Alberta. We are dedicated to addressing and raising awareness about the issues that impact this community. Our approach involves engaging in active dialogue through events and other activities, promoting inclusivity, and striving for positive change.

About The Queer Neighbours Society of Red Deer

  • We have nine regular events every month for community members to attend, all ages and free unless indicated. Coffee and Chat, Art Club, Youth Group, Rainbow DnD, Board Game Night and more.
  • We advocate for 2SLGBTQIA rights and speaking out against biphobia, homophobia and transphobia in the community.
  • We collaborate with other community organizations to help promote access to education, information and support on issues such as gender-based violence, addiction, mental health, housing and employment.
  • We work with other organizations and businesses to create community programs and events to promote mental, emotional and physical well-being in the community.
