Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Worksite Leader to support maintenance, turnaround (T/A), and construction activities within a dynamic oil and gas environment.
This role is ideal for a highly professional leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses strong safety leadership, contractor management, and work execution experience. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Coordinator, the Contract Worksite Leader will oversee routine and major maintenance activities from execution through close-out, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with corporate objectives and operational standards.

Shift: Schedule: 40 hours a week | Monday to Friday | Some OT may be required

Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance
Lead and supervise maintenance, turnaround, and construction activities while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Oversee Safe Control of Work (SCOW) processes, permits, and safety requirements
Support incident reporting and investigations in accordance with company standards
Conduct Line of Defense (LOD) assurance and safety audit activities
Monitor critical safety barriers and implement risk mitigation measures
Ensure maintenance activities are completed without compromising personnel, equipment, or operational safety
Provide technical guidance and support troubleshooting efforts to improve safety and reliability
Work Management
Participate in daily planning and coordination meetings
Support work management processes, scheduling activities, backlog reviews, and execution planning
Validate contractor and vendor work completion
Ensure work orders are accurately documented, updated, and closed within SAP and Salesforce
Identify and recommend improvements to maintenance execution processes
Maintenance & Turnaround Execution
Coordinate and oversee routine and major maintenance activities from start to finish
Monitor job progress and ensure adherence to schedules, maintenance plans, and project milestones
Perform and review risk assessments for high-risk and non-routine work
Serve as the primary site contact for contractors and vendors
Coordinate contractor activities to ensure compliance with site requirements and project specifications
Proactively identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and execution risks
Provide regular status updates on critical maintenance activities
Perform hands-on field support when required
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Build strong working relationships with employees, contractors, and stakeholders
Promote accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence
Support change management initiatives and issue resolution
Participate in lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement activities
Share best practices and support overall maintenance and turnaround performance improvements
Qualifications and Skills:
Required
Minimum 10 years of experience in turnaround, maintenance, construction, or shutdown execution within the oil and gas industry
Minimum 5 years of experience leading maintenance, project, construction, or turnaround activities
Strong knowledge of maintenance execution, work management, turnaround planning, and close-out processes
Experience with:
Safe Control of Work (SCOW)
Asset Risk Management
Line of Defense (LOD) assurance activities
Contractor management
Stakeholder coordination
Strong communication, leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Preferred
Previous supervisory, foreman, or team leadership experience
Experience working with:
SAP
Salesforce
Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices
Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams
Previous turnaround (TAR) and major maintenance execution experience
